We now have modern retooled and vintage Cherry MX Black switches available! We will sell these switches in consecutive batches since it is really hard to harvest them from the market. Year of production and condition may vary from batch to batch, so please carefully read the updated description before you make the purchase!
Important to note: All pre-retooled and vintage Cherry MX switches are harvested from old keyboards or factories' old stock. Due to the fact that they were produced a long time ago, we are unable to guarantee that all of them function well. Our in-house cleaning might also not be enough to remove all the dirt, solder on pins, and dust. Extra cleaning might be necessary for them to work normally. For the pre-retool and vintage switches that are not super rare, we will include extras in each order to make sure there are enough replacements. The price you pay is for 90, but we will add another extra 20 just in case. For super rare Vintage switches such as the 1983-1987 vintage blacks, we might not be able to provide extras.
Disclaimer: Only Pre-retooled Cherry MX Black and Brown switches were cleaned in batches using ultrasound cleaner. VIntage Black switches are cleaned individually and assembled with the original parts.
