The HMX Yogurt S linear switch is the newest version of the XLLAB Yogurt switch. Compared to the previous model such as Yogurt and Yogurt V2 switches, they come with the following upgrade:
1. They still come with a thickened bottom housing, but Yogurt S' P7 bottom comes with more fiberglass to make them even clackier
2. The top housing is improved to minimize stem wobble and to maintain a smooth travel in the meantime
3. Yogurt S switches are better for RGB Shinethrough
4. Yogurt S is lubed with HMX's newest factory lubing method which makes them super smooth

Yes! Stem legs and stem sliders are covered with a very thin coat of 205g0. The spring and leaf are lubed with dry film. Everything else is dry. There is no lube in the bottom housing or anywhere near the stem pole. The chance that these get lube pooling issue is very small.

Great switch, i would describe the sound as a bright thud / thuddy clack.
Removing the switches from an alu plate can be kinda difficult compared to other switches, so i sort of wonder if the little tabs that hold the switch in will break after a while.
As per usual with hmx, i don't feel like I need to do any sort of modding.

These have actually been very satisfying to use and hear on my Lucky65 v3. Originally had capybara switches on them but found that these Yogurt S switches were just more fitting for this keyboard. Love the Clacky and Louder sound signature these have!
Pretty well known switches already but for sure one of the best recently: bright, full and they even offer 2 spring options. For me it's a must pick if you like this kind of sound signature.
These are my first clacky switches! I was a bit nervous that they might be toooo clacky, but they are actually perfect. Very smooth to type on, with a satisfying clack and pop. Just enough resistance when typing, too--I don't like weak switches. I'm using on paragon aluminum keyboard!
Foamless Monsgeek m1 v5 tmr, somehow works due to the tmr one having a 1.6mm non flexcut pcb, i do think the hmx yogurt S absolutely carries it but its a good foamless option, this is probably also the smoothest, fullest and brightest sounding switch i have used ever, and honestly would love to move it out of this monsgeek into something hyper clacky!
This switch is incredibly well-made—it honestly makes me think, "If you're on the fence, you might as well just use this for everything." Right now, I'm using it with a PC plate and foam, but I feel like it would pair perfectly with any combination.
If you already have the yogurts v2, DO NOT buy these, they are the same thing. There is little to no difference. However if you don’t have any yogurts, yeah these are great!
Very full, loud, and clacky switches! These are wayyyy better than the Yogurt V1s and are probably the best Hmx switch I've tried on my neo65cu so far.
One of the best CLACK Monster in HMX Line Up. Each Keystroke produce distinctively Bright High Pitch Sounding Experience. its like typing on Ice Glass. Trying in on my TKD Cycle 7 with Carbon Fiber Plate and Im Truly Impressed with it! Sound Wise, This Banger Switch deliver a More Aggressive Clack conpared to earlier version.
