HMX TOAST Linear Switch

Isn't this the cutest switch you have seen? The adorable light diffuser was designed by Rena Lab and custom-made by HMX. It is recommended to use a transparent keycap set with these switches, as you will see these little toasts shine up one by one on your keyboard.

Customer video review of HMX TOAST LINEAR SWITCH FACTORY LUBED (10PCS)

The HMX Toast Switch on a WOBKEY board sounds unbelievably creamy yet poppy at the same time — that signature HMX clarity with a fuller, more satisfying body. I definitely like them

These switches are FANTASTIC!! So smooth, muted and perfectly mixed between thocky and creamy sounding. They are so soothing to type on and everybody who has heard them in my keyboard has wanted them. 10000/10

I really love the toast switches and wish I had ordered more of them. They feel and sound awesome. A satisfying thock, not too loud. Would definitely recommend!

HMX Toast Linear Switch Factory Lubed (10PCS)

Absolutely amazing switch. It is highly stable with minimal wobble and feels buttery smooth. While it isn't quite as deep-sounding as the Keygeek Y2s, leaning slightly more toward a mid-tone "creamy" profile, it features a much firmer and more satisfying bottom-out. It strikes a perfect balance: softer than typical POM and UPE stem switches, but tuned much better than the overly soft bottom-out of the Y2s. The stem, travel, and bottom-out feel significantly tighter than the Y2s, which can come across as loose and inconsistent by comparison. Most impressively, this switch completely lacks the leaf ping that my Y2s developed after extensive use. Volume-wise, it is totally acceptable for home use or an office with decent ambient noise. If you want a tighter, smoother, and reasonably quiet linear, this is it. The HMX Oat and Keygeek Y2s are the quietest non-silent switches I’ve tried to date. However, if you want something truly silent, I highly recommend the Wingtree Linchicx Pink Pink Silent Linear. It is significantly quieter, yet retains a unique, deep sound profile, almost like bubbles popping in boiling oatmeal. Because it is a true silent switch, you will definitely hear your keycaps and your fingernails hitting the board much more clearly. You will also notice slight spring and leaf pings, a common trait of silent switches since the lack of bottom and top-out noise amplifies everything else. Thankfully, those pings are well-controlled and don't ruin that deep "oatmeal" sound. Thanks to its unique dust-proof box stem design, the Pink Pink is incredibly stable with a faster rebound than both the Y2s and the Oat, though it does feel a bit scratchier. One thing to note is that silent switches often require a lot of tuning in the stabilizers, as any warped keycaps or rattle from the stabilizer wires will become extremely noticeable. At this point, this has turned into a deep-dive comparison between quiet and silent switches. Overall, I highly recommend the HMX Oat over the Keygeek Y2s. It delivers a much higher-quality typing feel without making your board sound too dull.

HMX TOAST LINEAR SWITCH FACTORY LUBED (10PCS)

I ordered 11 X 10PC but they sent more than what I ordered. I am so happy and feels good that they go above and beyond for customers. I will definitely buy more stuff from them in future.

HMX TOAST LINEAR SWITCH FACTORY LUBED (10PCS)

Improvment over Bad Sweetheart: HMX finaly made a low volume thick sounding switch that does not tick. The spearical stem has a softer bottom out than most HMX switches, such as the BSH and the Retro T. The volume is much lower than I was hoping for but still really nice and muddy for that foamy sound, even in a foamless build. Still perfer the Retro T for the sound and scratch. This is a close second.
