HMX Reze Tactile Switch (Thocky and Creamy Sounding)
The HMX Reze Tactile switch is a thocky, creamy-sounding tactile switch featuring top-notch factory lubing and precise molding.
Reze fills in the missing spot of a thocky and creamy sounding HMX tactile switch. They feature a PA12 top housing and a P4 bottom housing which are both smooth and relatively softer, which mellows the overall sound profile and typing feel. The H2 stem is a strengthened UPE blend which is perfect for creating a thocky sound profile.
Paired with the precise factory lubing, Reze switches are thocky and smooth.

Factory Lubed
Yes! Stem legs and stem sliders are covered with a very thin coat of 205g0. The spring and leaf are lubed with dry film. Everything else is dry. There is no lube in the bottom housing or anywhere near the stem pole. The chance that these get lube pooling issue is very small.

I am obsessed with these Reze switches, finally a more deep and thocky tactile switch! I can't recommend them enough. They are like the HMX Hydra's deeper buddy.
Another great tactile from HMX. A nice medium tactile bump; not too light. Somewhat subdued and deep sounding, which is a nice change from the clackiness of many of the recent run of HMX tactile switches. Will definitely buy more when back in stock.
Great push feel and sound. Surprisingly close sound wise to bsun golden apples. With the heavier spring option, there is a surprisingly strong and satisfying initial push needed to start moving down the D shaped tactile hump. Great switches! If these are sold out in the future, consider HMX puppy, bsun golden apples, it wingtree golden applev2's as they are all pretty similar in push feel and sound.
One thing I have to say is that shipment for these switches somehow got lost/misplaced with the carrier, but Unikeys was quick to send replacement switches! The customer service team is exceptional! The original shipment finally came in and I was blown away. They’re very muted and subdued, very uncharacteristic from the bright and clacky that HMX is known for. Some people have told me these are a redux of the HMX Puppy switches, and for the most part I can agree with it. The tactility from the bump is more prominent and the spring weight is more noticeable in the HMX Rezes that they’re quite the joy to type on.
The one thing that caught me off guard is there is a very noticeable stem wobble on the HMX Reze switches. Unsure if the Puppies are the same, but this is the one characteristic that is unlike the typical molds from HMX where the stem is assuredly very tight on key press. This is very playful if you have a stiff mounting plate like brass/alu, or if you have a top mounted board.
