HMX RETRO J Tactile Switch

The HMX Retro J Tactile switch features a loud and clacky sound profile. They are manufactured using HMX's newest tactile switch mold, which differentiates them from HMX's previous tactile switches such as Cilantro or Frog tactile switches. The Retro J tactile switch comes with minimal pre and post-travel. The tactile bump is rounded and close to a D shape.

The switches are good. HMX Retro J switches are lighter than my old ones (Azure Dragon V.4) so it took a little getting used to, but they are quite responsive! Less good is that it took 15 days delivery time ^^; If there is a quicker delivery option, that will be very nice.

My favorite tactile from HMX so far. Full and rounded clack. Excellent feel for typing. No pre linear travel. You will feel the round tactile bump immediately into a smooth bottom out. These are loud. Highly recommend.

Amazing tactiles from HMX. May be one of the best releases from them. Sharp tactile bump reminiscent of Gateron Type R; biggest difference being the traditional clacky sound profile of HMX switches. Will definitely purchase more.
