HMX Firecracker Tactile Switch

The HMX Firecracker Tactile switch is designed by our dear friend Yowzers.

These amazing switches feature a P-shaped tactile bump, which makes them super satisfying to type with.

Material-wise, this is the first HMX tactile switch that uses a POK stem. Paired with the nylon housing, the POK stem creates a full, clacky, but not overly loud bottom-out sound.

Switches were sent out to me very quickly despite the probable backlog of orders because of Lunar New Year. Arrived safe and sound after a short while. They sound really nice, and have a nice tactile feel. Never had a tactile switch before, but I'm glad I took a chance and ended up with switches that did not disappoint!

Second order of this switch. Very fun characteristics. Modified my first batch with +4g springs which results in better balance (bump/bottom-out/return). If you like tactiles with character, these are worth a try!

HMX FIRECRACKER TACTILE SWITCH FACTORY LUBED EDITION (10PCS)

My favorite HMX tactile to date. Featuring the most prominent bump of any of them by feel, these are a strong P tactile with a more full sound that's a bit quieter than a lot of their releases. The bump is so pronounced it can cause a return problem in some cases, like the heavy and poorly tuned spacebar on my test board, but it also makes them the most satisfying to type on of HMX' releases. Nice job, yowzers!
