Return Policy

Unikeys appreciates your love and support. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will help you with the return process.

We have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return ((when tracking states that the package is marked as “Delivered”).

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. On the day of requesting the return, please provide us with a Timestamp of the product to demonstrate its current condition.

If you are located in the U.S., Canada, EU, Australia, or New Zealand, please email us first so we can help you arrange the shipping with a cheaper option.

Please note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues


Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items


Certain types of items cannot be returned:

  • Items that are not in new condition during purchase such as Vintage, pre-retool, or any old Cherry switches
  • Lubricants
  • Oils
  • Greases


Refunds


After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item, we will process your return. Please allow at least fourteen (14) days from the receipt of your item to process your return. Refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card statement, depending on your credit card company. We will notify you by email when your return has been processed.

Important:

  • A 3.6% PayPal process fee will be charged for all returns, or a 20% restocking fee if the item has been opened and/or used.
  • The shipping cost & shipping insurance will not be reimbursed for returns. Customers are responsible for covering any costs that are related to returns. Unikeys will not cover the return shipping fees, customs fees, and taxes etc,. 
  • Sale items clearance items, and Group Buy orders are FINAL SALES and cannot be returned.


Refund Policy for Qwertykeys Keyboards

We do not accept returns, refunds, or replacements under any circumstances for the following:

  • Change of mind.
  • After 30 days of successful delivery.
  • Preferences such as acoustics, aesthetics, or typing feel.
  • Timing problems such as estimated delivery date, delivery date, or delays.
  • Maximizing unit quality or resale value by “binning” units through replacements.
  • Failed delivery due to any of the following reasons:
    • Incorrect address and/or delivery details
    • Lack of response to courier inquiries
    • Refusal of payment of import duties and/or taxes
    • Rejection of customs clearance


No refund or replacement may be offered if the returned item is damaged, destroyed, or lost during transit from the buyer to the vendor. However, we will assist in the claim process.

We reserve the right to verify that the product qualifies for a claim.

We reserve the right to reduce the refund amount due to any of the following but not limited to:

  • Visible signs of use or assembly, including packaging beyond the minimum that must be opened to access the part in question.
  • Missing and/or damaged packaging and/or accessories.
  • Damage due to user error.
  • Transaction fee at 5%

Any refunds or replacements will only occur after the vendor has received the item and has verified the contents of the claim. Due to recent threats of replacement abuse for sale of items on the second-hand market, under no circumstance will any replacement or refund be issued before the item has been safely delivered back to the vendor and confirmed.

Any units purchased at a discount will only be refunded to the discounted price.
