Suuuuper deep and poppy, I have the Keygeek Y2, these feel and sound different. They're more poppy and louder, the springs feel heavier and with the longer travel they feel a lot better with ceramic keycaps. (with the 63g spring). Much less mushy!

The rounded stem tip keeps the sound slightly muted and delivers a clean, straightforward thocky tone — great if you enjoy that character, but not for those who don't.
A very good switch, as you would expect from Keygeek. Nice deep sound and smooth. Worth trying for Thocky fans. In my opinion, it should be installed on a PC or FR4 to maintain the deep sound.
These key switches are excellent. The feel when pressing them is incredibly satisfying, smooth, responsive, and consistent. On top of that, the sound profile is deep and thick, exactly what I was looking for. They feel premium and perform flawlessly. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their keyboard.
The Y3 switches feel very smooth, have a deep sound and 53g is a nice middle ground weight. Factory lubing is decent but could use some slightly thicker lube
Once again excellent delivery times in Europe from Unikeys. AS for the switches, I already had Keygeek Υ2s, so I ordered some Y3s.. Nice thocky switch, a little less deep and a bit more loud than Y2, but excellent and smooth over all. I mixed them with Y2s, for some keys that I wanted a tad more bright and "alive", but still thocky over all. I totally recomend them if you want a mid-to-deep switch.
Great switches
Good budget switch but I experienced ticking in some of the switches which has gotten annoying. The switch is deep (like most keygeek switches) and leans more 'thocky' if you put it in a board with some foam.

Switches are very good and thocky
The y3 are a perfect balance between all things that make up a good deep sounding switch in my opinion. The bottom out is not harsh but is also not chewy, the volume is not quiet but is also not too loud, and there is no poppy or high pitched element to it at all! On top of this, the price is unbeatable for a switch that doesn’t tick at all! Definitely a must try for anyone looking into deep linears.
The switches are great in my new board! (Kbdfans Athena 1800). The sound is great and the factory lube is nice and smooth!

Excellent smooth, thocky and deep sounding switches. Somewhat muted, not to sound too loud, but that's what I was looking for. Reminds me of JWK Vertex V1 somewhat. Goes to my top tier along Akko Rosewood, HMX Canglans V3 and Gateron Milky Yellow Pro.
Soft bottom out due to spherical stem. poppy/creamy. will shine on foams builds in my opinion, very smooth
quick compare to Akko Cream Yellows naked and in action on Monsgeek M1 V5 unmodded. Love it!
The Y3 with the new top housing is smooth and marbly. The spring of the new Y3 feels a little better than the old version too.
My absolute favourite switch to use right now. Perfect amount of smoothness and sound-- and that deep thock omg. It's just a touch less mushy than Akko Rosewoods on bottom-out imo which I kind of prefer. This is already my second batch of x70s. Definitely going to keep using and buying these switches for future builds and try the Y1's and Purple Dawns too down the line.

Fantastic switches! The MZ Y3 provide a deep sound that is very calm and clean. They provide a very smooth typing experience with a comfortable bottom out feel. They sound great in my stock Feker Galaxy80. Shipping time was as expected and they were well packaged.
Good switches
after researching for the perfect thock switches, i finally decided to get the keygeek Y3s, since it has a lot of positive reviews online. i would say, maybe it’s the cherry keycaps, but it’s not as thocky as i have anticipated. it gives more of a deep marbly/poppy sound. a little bit muted than the HMX matcha buttermilk that i currently have, but certainly satisfying to hear. maybe if i get more foam, it’ll deepen the sound? nonetheless, i love how it turned out. rgb is a major sacrifice though, but the feeling and the sound of the Y3s are worth the trade off.

Not as deep or creamy as I thought
I bought these Keygeek Y3 switches for my Keychron keyboard after using Gateron Pro Reds, and I was hoping for something with a deeper, more “thocky” sound. These absolutely delivered. Right out of the box, they sound noticeably deeper and more satisfying than the Reds, without needing any extra work. I have also tried Gateron Milky Yellows, and I like these substantially better. Installation was easy, and all 110 switches seem to be working perfectly. The typing feel is smooth, and the sound profile is exactly what I was looking for. If you’re trying to upgrade from standard linear switches and want something with a richer, deeper sound, these are a great choice.
Nice switches. but I noticed while lubing, there were some stems (5-6 switches) that has broken leg hence it couldnt hit the leaf to send the signal. Gave 4 stars because of that. Update: The team reached out to me and sent replacements of the defective switches. Thank you so much! You have gained the 5th star!

The switches sound and feel great, but I experienced reliability issues across the batch. Several switches produce unintended double inputs (chatter), and others fail to maintain consistent registration when held.
