HMX Iris is a factory-lubed linear switch designed for a smooth, relaxed keypress, a substantial bottom-out, and a clean, focused return.
Its sound signature centers on a rounded, concentrated mid-frequency profile: full and controlled, without harsh high-frequency noise. With lighter keyboard damping it can sound brighter and clearer; with more internal damping it becomes deeper and more compact.
