these switches are... interesting. i really love the sound they produce, but they also feel heavier than i thought theyd be given the information provided. sometimes they have a mushy feel, especially if typing slower or lighter.

These switches have a major design flaw where they randomly bottom out on the stem- not the rails! They feel mushy and produce a highly inconsistent sound. Strongly recommend passing on these.

I took a chance on the UniKeys x BSUN Waves Rail Bottom-Out Linear Switches, and I couldn’t be happier that I did. These switches completely exceeded my expectations. From the first few keystrokes, I was genuinely surprised at how satisfying they felt and sounded. The smoothness is top-tier, and the rail bottom-out design adds a unique and refined feel to every press. What truly caught me off guard was the sound profile—deep, clean, and subtly thocky in the most pleasing way. It’s the kind of switch that makes you want to keep typing just for the experience. This was a bit of a leap for me, but it turned out to be surprisingly good decision I’ve made. The Waves switches have earned a permanent place in my collection, and I’ll definitely be keeping my eye on future UniKeys collaborations.

Interesting switch that took some time to get used to due to the rail bottom-out feel. Definitely feels heavier (agreed with the other review that it feels closer to 60g) so it's something to be mindful of! Really nice deep sound signature, sound thocky on my QK75.

Feel smooth and sounds good, but the actuation force feels FAR higher than it's listed to be. It feels like 60g+ instead of 48g. Not a fault of the description but down to the rail bottom out design. A nice switch just not what I was looking for.

Design flaw of this switch is that if you were to press the top part of the key, it produces a weird, mushy feeling bottom out as if the legs are bottoming out instead together with a silenced sound which is not pleasing at all. However, when the bottom of the key is pressed, the switch bottoms out just fine and has a really nice subtle poppy sound to it. It's a shame as this could've been a really good switch.
