HMX Tequila Switches have medium pitched clacky sound profile; Closely inspecting their specs, you will notice they are very similar to the OG Macchiato switch. What makes them slightly different is the housing material Tequila uses which creates a slightly quieter top-out sound.
Because of the POK stem they have, Tequila switches come with a bit of audible scratch during slow travel. That is definitely a plus if you prefer a smooth switch with a hint of scratch sound.
