HMX Sunny V2 linear switch is the newest version of QN Studio's Sunny switch. Different from V1, V2 is manufactured by HMX using a brand-new modified nylon blend bottom housing; The code name of the new nylon material is N1. With the new nylon bottom, the Sunny V2 switch overall sounds clacky but not too loud. Thanks to the new mold, it doesn't sound thin either. It's sound profile is clacky but well balanced.
With the POK stem and PA12 top housing, Sunny V2 switches come with a smooth travel with a hint of scratchiness. You won't be able to feel the scratch during typing, but you can hear it if you listen close up.
